SHK-1 Shock Mount

The rubber bands grip my condenser mic firmly without leaving marks, and footsteps in the room next door no longer show up in my recordings. Took a minute to angle it right, but now my takes are clean.

My desk sits right above a shared hallway, so every footstep was getting into my recordings. Clipping the mic into this shock mount killed all that low-end thumping, and it still holds the mic at whatever angle I set.

Bought this to stop the low rumbles from my desk reaching my condenser mic, and it does exactly that. The isolation is solid and it grips the mic tightly without any wobble.
